ASSISTANT DYNAMICS POSITIONING OPERATOR

JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Dynamic Positioning Operator (ADPO) operates the automated and fixed station keeping system of the vessel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Among other responsibilities, he is expected to:
Operate the dynamic positioning (DP) equipment under the direction of the Sr. DPO, DPO or Chief Mate.
Operate and understand the Ballast Control System, Power Management System and Fire and Gas Detection Systems.
Maintain the vessel in a stable condition and at the correct draft and trim.
Assist in setting up the DP System operational parameters.
Assist with running and maintaining records for hydrophones and subsea beacons.
Assist with performing preventative maintenance on the DP equipment.
Stand navigational watch as required.

ASSISTANT DRILLER

JOB SUMMARY
He assists the Driller in the planning and execution of all drilling operations for the main or auxiliary well centers. Also responsible for operating all drilling, hoisting and mud circulating equipment, following directions from the well program in accordance with company procedures, in a safe and efficient manner

Act as a Safety Leader ensuring the ongoing identification of hazards and the implementation of controls to manage the associated risks with a special focus on Well Control, Permit to Work and Isolation procedures

RADIO OPERATOR

DECK PUSHER

JOB SUMMARY
He oversees all deck and cargo operations aboard the ship and the conduct of these operations in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes the supervision of all crane operators and roustabouts and ensuring that deck and lifting operations proceed in a safe and efficient manner

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all work according to agreed expectations of both internal and external customers
Supervise all crane and deck operations, such as picking up or laying down tubular, running riser and casing, and the loading/stowage of deck cargo and equipment.
Coordinate all boat operations, particularly the loading and unloading of bulk products and deck cargo from various support vessels.
Regularly and clearly communicate with client representatives and logistic coordinators.
Regularly and clearly communicate with the Toolpusher to ensure full support of the Drill-Floor and with the Bridge regarding crane operations and supply boats.
Provide Crane Operator and Roustabouts with relevant instructions for current and forthcoming operations.

BOSUN

JOB SUMMARY
In charge of the Able Bodied(AB) Seaman, marine operations on deck, and the maintenance of the deck machinery

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide deck crew with relevant instructions for current and forthcoming operations.
Plan and supervise deck maintenance.
Determine the type of rigging, scaffolding, et cetera, required for specific jobs.
Routine maintenance of the vessel’s equipment, such as navigational lights, anchor windlass, winches, lifesaving and firefighting equipment and all main and auxiliary equipment associated with seaworthiness.
Use of radio equipment or telephone for helicopter or vessel support.

CRANE OPERATOR

The Crane Operator is responsible for crane and lifting operations aboard the ship and the conduct of these operations in accordance with company policies and procedures. This includes the supervision of all roustabouts and ensuring that all deck operations proceed in a safe and efficient manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all work according to agreed expectations of both internal and external customers
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the crane (s) and supervising all roustabouts
Ensure Drill Floor and other departments about the rig receive the equipment necessary for its efficient operation
Inspect crane structure and boom and wires for damage before each use, also conduct functional checks of crane safety devices. (i.e. gauges, indicators, limit switches, cables, etc
Ensure that all items to being lifted are provided with appropriate lifting points and are correctly rigged with certified gear (i.e. slings, straps, s……les, wire ropes, etc).
Provide Roustabouts with relevant instructions for current and forthcoming operations.

MOTOR OPERATOR

MUD SYSTEM OPERATOR

Performs all tasks related to drilling fluid management including operating and maintaining drilling fluid pumping, treatment and mixing systems.

PUMPHAND

The Quality and Training Advisor (QTA) is responsible for advising offshore personnel on Company Drilling Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Training management systems on board the vessel. The QTA assists in enhancing the QHSE skills of crew.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a Quality and HSE leader ensuring the ongoing identification of hazards and the implementation of controls to manage the associated risks with a special focus on Permit to Work and Isolation procedures.
Promote 100% compliance, all the time with Company Drilling Quality, HSE and Training management systems by all personnel onboard.
Facilitate/Instruct HSE-related courses
Provide administration/support for training on board the rig including maintaining personnel’s training records
Assist in maintaining Quality, HSE and Training bulletin boards updated.

1st degree or its equivalent
Three years of offshore experience and demonstrated Quality and HSE leadership, or as an alternate three years of Quality and HSE experience in associated industries plus an offshore orientation period to ensure as a minimum the qualification requirements for roustabout and roughneck

THIRD ENGINEER

ASSISTANT SUBSEA

JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Subsea is predominantly the Trainee of the Subsea Department. He is responsible for conducting rounds and scheduled works and reports to the Senior Subsea Supervisor and the Subsea Supervisor directly

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct inspection, maintenance and repair rounds on all Subsea related equipment.
Maintain the housekeeping onboard to the very high client standards with a particular focus on escape / walking ways to remain clear of any obstruction at all times.
Report all defects to the immediate Supervisor.
Log daily notes and conduct an end of hitch Handover report to their respective relief

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Preferably held the position of either Derrickman or Mechanic previously.

MECHANIC

JOB SUMMARY

The Mechanic takes the lead in executing the preventative / corrective maintenance and ongoing repairs to Mechanical Drilling Equipment and support Systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily checks the condition of areas and equipment, i.e. knuckle boom cranes, mud pumps, draw works, top drive, mud treatment and all drilling related equipment and systems under his responsibility, by making rounds
Inform Chief Mechanic and other department heads of any technical problems or limitations that might affect the safe operation of the vessel.
Ensure that maintenance is planned, organized, supervised and executed in accordance with well programs, Drilling requirements and contractual obligations.
Under all circumstances maintain a minimum amount of spares onboard together with direct supports ‐ for critical/safety/maintenance/operational systems
Maintain workshop equipment and tools to the highest safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School or equivalent with a Mechanical Grade
Minimum 2 years of offshore experience in the position of Mechanic.
Must possess fluent English communication skills (oral and written).
Experienced and trained on hydraulic systems troubleshooting and maintenance

ELECTRICIAN

JOB SUMMARY
The Electrician will assist the Chief Electrician with preventative maintenance, and on-going maintenance repairs to equipment pertaining to the electrical department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a Safety Leader ensuring the ongoing identification of hazards and the implementation of controls to manage the associated risks with a special focus on Permit to Work and Isolation procedures.
Perform maintenance and repair of electrical components for all; drilling equipment (i.e. drilling motors and auxiliaries, Top Drive systems, mud pumps, etc)
Maintain sufficient spares are onboard ‐ together with the Chief Electrician and
Electrical/Electronic Supervisor for critical/safety/maintenance/operational systems with a pro‐active attitude with regards to upcoming Preventive Maintenance System
Maintain workshop equipment/tools to the highest safety standards.
Perform daily visual inspections of equipment; prevent/rectify actual and potential malfunctions, report potentially dangerous conditions to the Chief Electrician

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Electrical Knowledge/Skills through work experience and OND Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
